I graduated in Biology in 2018 in the University of Salamanca (Spain) with a thesis on bat ecology in Mediterranean forests. Now I am a M.Sc. student and I will complete my thesis with Biodeserts. I will study the differences in the genomes of two cryptic rodent species occurring in North Africa (Dipodidae: Jaculus) using NGS data from samples collected during several years of expeditions by Biodeserts members.
I am interested in general in ecological and evolutionary processes at different scales and involving different taxa, but I have a special interest in small mammals. I really enjoy fieldwork and I have had the opportunity to do it across Iberian Peninsula, North-West Africa and Central America.
