I got my MSc in Science and Management of Nature at “Alma Mater Studiorum” - University of Bologna (Italy) in 2018, with a thesis about the intraspecific variability in head shape of the western whip snake (Hierophis sp.). Currently I am a PhD Student at CIBIO with a project focusing on the evolutionary history of European vipers (genus Vipera). In my project I'm combining biogeographic, morphological, eco-physiological and predictive mechanistic analyses to address evolutionary dynamics of European vipers and assess their potential responses and persistence under climate change. I am interested in ecological and evolutionary processes, phenotypic diversity and its application to conservation, with a particular focus on reptiles.
